Mass Eye and Ear Hospital - CLOSED


The Mass Eye and Ear summer internship is a six week program from July 9-August 17th. Students will have an orientation prior to their start date (date TBA). Students will work a 32 hour work week (schedule will vary depending on department) and the pay rate is $11 per hour. Students must be 16 years or older to work at Mass Eye and Ear.




Youth Summer Internship Job Details

Dates: July 9 – August 17, 2018 (six weeks)
Wage: $ 11
Hours per week: 32 hours

Work Site Addresses:
243 Charles St, Boston MA; (short walk from Charles/MGH Red line stop)
for Info Services student: 325 Cambridge St, Boston MA (across from Charles/MGH Red line stop)

Must be at least 16 by July 1.
Anyone under 18 needs a work permit and a signed parental consent form (attached)

Job Descriptions 2018

 Patient Accounts (Pat Acct)- Data entry, help with correspondence, filing, answering patient calls (2 Interns)

Nursing - help transport patients, do orderly-like tasks like tuning over/cleaning rooms, helping to put charts together, taking out garbage, etc. (2 Interns)

Human Resources (HR)- Data entry, help with correspondence, filing, answering calls (1 Intern)

Interviews:
 Interviews will take place May 22-24 at 325 Cambridge St.
